Parking Valet Attendants / Cashiers 
City Park has always taken great pride in offering exceptional customer service to all our customers. All employees must be presentable and well-groomed at all times, and uniforms must be neat and clean.  We employ parking attendants / cashiers at our hotels, parking garages and parking lot facilities. Our Parking Valet Attendants / Cashiers may be asked to do the following:

  • Park and/or deliver vehicles
  • Cashier with or without revenue-control equipment
  • Check self-parking facilities
  • Perform daily ticket audits
  • Perform facility maintenance
  • Display knowledge of different vehicles and equipment
  • Monthly parking procedures

All parking valet attendants are expected to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. They are required to drive safely and perform a vehicle inspection on all vehicles at all times.  At times they will be required to load or unload bags or packages into vehicles for guests. Standing for long periods of time is expected.

 

Facility Manager
The Facility Manager’s main responsibility is to oversee the overall performance of the garage facility by establishing professional parking operations, high levels of customer service and profitability.  The Facility Manager is responsible for supervising the operation, maximizing revenue and serving patrons in a friendly and courteous manner. They are required to mentor, support and supervise parking valet attendants and supervisors.

Managers must have the ability to enforce work rules, company policies and assure that each employee will provide service in a safe, courteous and reliable manner. Training of new and existing employees is also a critical part of the job.  The Facility Manager must explain all operational duties to every employee, including stacking, retrieving vehicles, careful and slow driving, cashiering and claims procedures.

Required education, experience and technical knowledge includes:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Arithmetic
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Five years professional parking operations experience
  • Prior experience managing and supervising a team of parking valet attendants
  • Familiarity with the local community in San Francisco
